General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Rather intense high pressure system from China covered upper Thailand while hot occurs over the country. Thunderstorms with isolated gust and hail are likely over the country during 31 March to 1 April, 2009. People should beware of severe weather by abstaining from outdoor, big isolated trees, bill board and unsecured building and avoiding to use mobile phone during thunderstorms.

Beside, the wind-wave in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward will be strength with wave height 2-3 meters in the thundershowers areas. All ship should proceed with caution during 31 March — 2 April, 2009.

Northern Part Day hot. Widely scattered thunderstorms with isolated gust and hail mostly in Chiang Rai, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Minimum temperature 20-25 C., maximum temperature 37-39 C.

Variable wind 10-25 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Day hot. Scattered thunderstorms with isolated gust and hail mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lampoo, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Surin,

Sri Saket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 22-25 C, maximum temperature 33-37 C.

Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Hot. Widely scattered thunderstorms with gust and hail mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopbiri, Sraburi and Pra Nakhon Si Ayudhaya. Minimum temperature 24-27 C.

Maximum temperature 37-39 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Hot. Scattered thunderstorms with isolated gust and hail mostly in Prachin Buri,

Chachaerngsao, Chon Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

Southern Part (East Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C.

Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southeasterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Upper Gulf from Surat Thani northward, wave height 1-2 meters. Lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward, wave height 2-3 meters in the thundershowers areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.

Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C.

Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in the thundershowers areas.

Metropolitan Hot. Widely scattered thundershowers and isolated gust mostly in the Vicinity.

Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 35-36 C.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
