Active low cell covers the lower Central and upper South of Thailand causing torrential rain and isolated very heavy rain over the country. People along foothills near waterways and in lowland should beware of flash flood. This severe weather alerts for provinces of Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Tak, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Rayong, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Phetchaburi, Ranong, Trang and Satun during a couple days (15-16 May 2009).

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rain
in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Tak, Uttaradit, Phichit, Kamphaengphet, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southerly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain
mostly in Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Rum, Surin, Sri Saket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and heavy rain
in areas of Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani and Phra Nakhon Si Ayudhaya.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain
in Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri and Rayong.
