General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time A low pressure trough lies across the upper Central and lower northeastern Thailand causing scattered rain over the upper part of the country in the period.
At 4.00 a.m. today, Tropical cyclone “ 02 B ” in the upper Bay of Bengal, located about 200 km south of Bangladesh or latitude 20.5 oN, Longitude 89.0 oE, with maximum sustained wind of 75 km/hr, is moving southward at a speed 15 km/hr. It will make landfall over Bangladesh by today. These result in strong wind-waves in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 1-2 days.
