Weather Forecast During 3-7 June, as the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand, the western part of the country accompanying the East and Central with Bangkok will experience torrential rainfall, heavy to very heavy fall and gusty wind mainly in afternoon to evening. Wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf strengthen with 2-3 meters high. During 8-9 June, the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Warning As continuous torrential rainfalls have occurred, people should beware of flash flood to affect risky areas along foothills near waterway and in lowland of the western Central and the East. Besides, dangerous wind-waves are forecast with 2-3 meters high, all ships in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.

Central Part Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers throughout this week with isolated heavy rain and gusty winds mostly in western portion during 3-5 June.

Eastern Part Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers throughout this week with isolated heavy to very heavy rain during 3-5 June. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) During 3-7 June, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with gust and isolated heavy rain in upper portion from Chumphon northwards. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and offshore above 2 meters from Surat Thani northwards. During 8-9 June, scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in upper portion. Southwesterly 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.
