กรุงเทพฯ--18 ก.ย.--Spark Communications Stiebel Eltron Thailand, the country's leading manufacturer of water heaters, water filters, hand-dryers, heat pumps and water pumps has announced another exceptional year of more than 20% growth in the region, reinforcing the company's operation in Thailand as a key production and export hub for APAC and beyond. Stiebel Eltron has seen strong sales growth in the first half of 2018 in Thailand after significant investment in the local market. The company credited this success to the focus on high quality products, increased marketing activities and a strengthening in customer service with a new service center in Phuket. Also to further the company's customer reach, Stiebel Eltron has expanded its sales channels, by increased selling via e-commerce platforms and offline into hardware stores, specialized in pump and water supply. These efforts are expected to see even further growth and the company is once again expecting more than 20% overall growth in 2018. Stiebel Eltron, which was formed in 1924 in Germany, now operates two factories in Ayutthaya which focus on the core Thai market and other important South East Asian markets. The second factory, bought in 2018, holds the key to Stiebel Eltron Thailand's position as the major hub for APAC production and export by 2020. An investment of over 200 Million Baht has been utilized to buy the factory, expand its product line, boost its production capacity and further its commitment to sustainable production by producing sustainable heat pumps and storage water heaters in the near future. Stiebel Eltron offers solutions that can help drastically reduce energy consumption, which helps protect the environment, produces zero emissions and are future-proof. Roland Hoehn, Managing Director of Stiebel Eltron Asia, said: "Despite the static water heater market, we've continued to see impressive growth this year, prompting our vision for Thailand to become APAC's production and export hub by 2020. We're investing heavily in Thailand, with more product lines and production capacity as well as increased marketing activities and an ecommerce platform. As brand awareness grows, we're confident our sales will, too." This upward trajectory is complemented by the launch of four innovative new products in the Thai market, which are all integral to Stiebel Eltron's vision to be the leading SE Asian water heating, water treatment and water movement solution provider: The Stiebel Boost, a powerful water pump, was a key launch last year, and this year will be expanded into new markets, e.g. plumbing stores, contractors and developers. The DDH EC multi-point water heater is a small, under sink unit, especially designed for those who live in condominiums. Another addition to the Stiebel Eltron family is the DHC IL EC, the company's first fully electronic, digital instantaneous multi-point water heater. Finally, the Maxstream, a commercial water filter that can filter up to 25,000 liters of water. Always innovating, the award-winning company continues to develop new product lines to meet the evolving needs of Thai consumers. As further commitment to the region, Stiebel Eltron has become the official sponsor of Bangkok Glass Football Club (BGFC). Through this partnership, Stiebel Eltron opened the "Stiebel Eltron Modern Water Solution Bathroom Design Contest 2018" at Leo Stadium which saw groups of three university students design bathrooms for the stadium, under a 'Modern Water Solution' theme. The design contest is in line with Stiebel Eltron's long-term commitment to continued support of the community in Thailand via various youth projects.
