Bangkok--14 Dec--INTERCONTINENTAL BANGKOK
Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary General of the United Nations, was given a warm welcome by Thane J. Kuhlman, General Manager of InterContinental Bangkok, during his visit as guest speaker at the conference to officially launch Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT), held at the hotel's Grand Ballroom. GCNT is part of an initiative of the UN that has been established to drive Thailand towards sustainability goals by means of responsible business in line with global standards. More than 500 business representatives from industries across the private sector attended the event.
