The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), at the extraordinary meeting of its broker members No.2/2019 held today, announces the election of four governors to SET's Board of Governors, namely Norachet Sangruji, Director, Phatra Securities pcl; Paiboon Nalinthrangkurn, CEO, TISCO Securities Co., Ltd.; Pattera Dilokrungthirapop, CEO, DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; and Thiti Tantikulanan, Executive Chairman, Kasikorn Securities pcl, pursuant to the Securities and Exchange Act (No. 6) B.E. 2562 (A.D. 2019) effective on April 17, 2019, stating that SET shall have four governors elected by its members.
The elected four governors and the other six governors, who will be appointed by the the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will form a new Board of Governors.
Meanwhile, the current governors of SET will continue performing their duties until the new BoG is formed.
