Reinforces customer acceptance of the premium sports sedan that comes with advanced driving technology and innovative "Honda SENSING" safety technology
Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has revealed the overwhelming positive feedback for the all-new Honda Accord, with over 4,000 bookings made since its launch and official price announcement in the middle of May 2019. More than 50% of the bookings are for the Honda Accord Hybrid. This success reinforces Honda's leadership in advanced automotive technology with innovative driving technology and the intelligent safety technology of Honda SENSING, together with the uniqueness of the all-new Honda Accord's premium sporty design. The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid, which is officially ready for delivery starting from July 12, 2019, comes with special offers to ensure customers' confidence, including Honda Ultimate Care, Honda 24hr Roadside Assistance for roadside service 24 hours a day every day, and a 10-year battery warranty plus a 5-year, unlimited mileage Hybrid system warranty and free labor cost for regular check-ups for five years or 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid will be available for test drives starting from July 25, 2019, at participating Honda showrooms nationwide.
The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid comes with a Sport Hybrid Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) System with a 2.0 Liter Atkinson Cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with two electric motors, E-CVT, and a lithium-ion battery that produces maximum power of 215 Ps. This full hybrid system offers powerful performance, excellent fuel efficiency at 24.4 kilometers per liter, and is environmentally friendly with a CO2 emission rate of only 97 grams/kilometer. The system can switch smoothly between three driving modes: EV Drive Mode, Hybrid Drive Mode, and Engine Drive Mode to respond to all driving conditions intelligently.
Additionally, the driver can press the EV Mode button to switch to EV Mode, which uses power for driving that is generated by the electric motor, during which the green EV logo is displayed on the meter. The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid also comes with a Sports Drive Mode for sportier driving and greater fun. For a sportier and more exciting drive, press the "Sport" button located at the base of the gearshift, and the SPORT logo will appear on the instrument panel when the car is in Sports Drive Mode.
The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid also comes with Honda SENSING, which uses a combination of the radar and monocular camera to detect the road environment, then alert and assist the driver in critical driving situations that could lead to an accident. The system provides enhanced safety for the driver, pedestrians, and other users on the road. Honda SENSING is comprised of the following safety functions:

The premium sport sedan comes with a stylish new exterior and interior design that perfectly combine a premium and sporty look and are designed with simplicity and refinement. The all-new Honda Accord Hybrid is equipped with premium functions that provide greater comfort and fulfill different customer needs, such as the Head-Up Display (HUD), the 7-inch TFT Multi-Information Display, the 8-inch Advanced Touch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and SIRI voice command support, and a Wireless Charger.
The all-new Honda Accord comes with two power options: a 1.5L Di VTEC TURBO engine with a maximum of 190 Ps., and a Sport Hybrid i-MMD System with a 2.0 Liter Atkinson Cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine. It is available in three variants: the TURBO EL variant at 1,475,000 baht, the HYBRID variant at 1,639,000 baht, and the HYBRID TECH variant at 1,799,000 baht. All variants offer a choice of four exterior colors: new Platinum White (Pearl), Crystal Black (Pearl), Lunar Silver (Metallic), and Modern Steel (Metallic), with three interior colors: ivory beige, black, and brown (only for the HYBRID TECH variant), depending on the exterior color.
All customers who buy and take delivery of an all-new Honda Accord Hybrid or any other Honda model from July 1 until October 31, 2019, at authorized Honda showrooms nationwide will receive a chance to participate in the "Honda Surprise to Win 1 Million Baht Gold" campaign.
