The final event of the Thailand Super Series will return to Chang International Circuit for the grand finale of the championship, on the 25th - 27th October 2019. This will be the first time that Sandy will compete with the new Audi R8 GT3 Evo on this circuit, having previously used the Audi R8 GT3 Ultra here in Round 2 of the series.
Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik will once again be sharing the cockpit with fellow teammate Martin Rump for the upcoming final round. Sandy feels confident that the duo will perform well at the circuit, as the pair have a lot of experience here from other series. "Although it'll be our first time using our new 2019 Spec Audi R8 GT3 Evo here, we are confident that we have the correct formula to be successful. Martin brings with him many years of experience on this circuit with this car, so together we should able to finely tune the car up for whatever conditions we may face." Explains Sandy.
Before Sandy gets to Bangsaen however, B-Quik Racing Team will perform a shakedown of the car to make sure that everything is working properly. After a successful round in Bangsaen, the Thai driver is keen to get back into the car "Bangsaen feels like it happened ages ago, but I've been keeping fit and ready for this last round. I'm looking forward to driving at Buriram again and it'll be interesting to see our pace compared to our competitors now that we have the new Audi R8 GT3 Evo. We're also still in the hunt for the Teams' and Drivers' championships, with many points still up for grabs," says Sandy.
The culminating round of the Thailand Super Series will surely be one to watch as it is still all to play for in the points standings. Sandy is currently 2nd in the overall standings and will be giving it everything to get onto the top step of the podium in Buriram. The Thai driver is focused and prepared and is eager to continue the strong form from the previous round, in Bangsaen.
