Hooters Thailand Hosts National Wing Eating Contest with 100,000 THB Grand Prize
Iconic American Chain Celebrates its 5th Anniversary in Thailand on Friday, December 13th 2019
In celebration of its fifth anniversary, Hooters Thailand launches a National Chicken Wing Eating Contest with a party on Friday, Dec 13 at its Silom Location.
During the event, Hooters Asia revealed the details of the contest and invites those with an appetite for winning to enter Hooters Thailand's National Wing Eating Contest, a competition that will grant the first prize of 100,000 THB to the entrant that can eat America's Best Wings the fastest.
The event, which is sure to be as fun to watch as to participate in, kicked off with an announcement by Miss Hooters International 2019 of Thailand, Cherrin Chairob of Hooters Phuket, who will be on hand at the party.
There are six selection rounds in the wing eating contest, one at each Hooters Thailand location, before the Grand Final round. The fastest eaters from each selection round will be selected for the Grand Final event. The final will be held at Hooters Pattaya, July 3rd, 2020, with Miss Hooters International 2019 of Thailand, Cherrin Chairob, attending to announce the Grand Prize winner.
The rules are simple: wing lovers can register in advance or on arrival of the set date, for 299 THB and the competition will be judged by a panel of Hooters Girls. The challenge is to devour 20 naked wings in the fastest time. Each outlet will register the first 100 competitive eaters from 7-8 pm and the contests will run from 8-9:30 pm.
The wing contest selection rounds will happen at Hooters Nana on Jan. 17, Hooters Phuket on Feb. 4, Hooters Sukhumvit Soi 15 on Mar. 6, Hooters Samui on Apr. 3, Hooters Pattaya on May 15 and Hooters Silom on June 5.
