Yanmar and Cerezo Osaka hold Thai-Japanese intercultural sports project to boost Thai youth’s football skills Bangkok--26 Feb--Vector Group YANMAR S.P.CO.,LTD., in corporation with Cerezo Osaka Football Club, recently held the 4th Cerazo Cup 2020 to promote Thai-Japanese cultural exchanges through football. YANMAR's Director of Planning, Mr. Kiyotaka Kusaka, presided over the event and awarded medals and trophies to U10, U12, and U14 champions at the Yamaoka Hanasaka Foundation Football Field, Rangsit Klong 4. The Cerezo Cup has now been held for 4 consecutive years to promote intercultural sports activity among Thai and Japanese youths and strengthening Thai youth's sporting skills, especially with football, which is a popular sport among Thai people. YANMAR offers ongoing support for Thai youths through several projects including the local community youth support project and scholarships that offer financially deprived youths with academic potential and a passion for football, the opportunity to better themselves with training with leading football clubs abroad. About Cerezo Osaka Cerezo Osaka is a football team in Japan from Osaka city. Currently, the 2011 season is played in J. League Division 1.
