Sun Microsystems Asia South and Ethnic Earth.com Holding Co. Ltd., today signed a strategic teaming agreement to provide "one-stop" e-commerce services to help enterprises dot com their business.
This alliance commences immediately in Thailand and will be replicated in other countries within the Alliance’s coverage in due time.
The agreement was jointly signed by Rumpa Benjarattanaporn, Managing Director of Ethnic Earth.com and Sanpat Sopon, Managing Director of Sun Microsystems (Thailand) Limited, and jointly witnessed by Mr. Randolph Hill, Country Director of Professional Services Division for Sun Microsystems (Thailand) Limited and Shayne L. Van Vlerken, Director for Ethnic Earth.com.
The alliance signifies a joint business decision to pursue opportunities to provide comprehensive E-commerce solutions to customers, with emphasis on integration services based on Java.
Under this teaming arrangement, Sun Microsystems Professional Services Organization (SunPS) will engage with the Ethnic Earth.com to jointly pursue opportunities in the E-commerce industry within the fast growing Asia South region by providing world class solutions and consulting services to dot com visionary enterprises.
Through this partnership, SunPS can leverage on the strength and experience of Ethnic Earth.com in providing integration services based on Java. Ethnic Earth.com can be assured of Sun’s formidable expertise to provide a highly scalable, available and secure infrastructure based on Sun’s technology.
