This year, Tsu and Nami Japanese Restaurants will hold its monthly Japanese cooking class work shop - Aki’s Real Traditional Japanese Cooking Class - demonstrated by Chef Aki starting from February 2006 onwards. Cooking class is scheduled to hold on first Saturday of each month.
You will learn the secret of Japanese cooking from our experienced Japanese Head Chef, Aki, and enjoy real Japanese food afterwards. Chef Aki will reveal his secret from choosing ingredients to semi-hands-on cooking which not only enables you to learn a crucial tip to choose ingredient & cook Japanese food but also enjoy the step by step of Japanese cooking. After the session, let’s enjoy lunch together hosted by Chef Aki. During a class, each guest will learn how to prepare five different courses, starting from sake cocktail, appetizer, soup, main course and dessert.
Chef Aki has long experience in traditional Japanese cooking. Starting his career at the Chef School in Tokyo, he worked in several traditional Japanese restaurants in Tokyo before moving to gain more experience in New York and Los Angeles for over 13 years. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head Chef at Wasabi Sabi Restaurant, a famous Japanese Restaurant in Hong Kong.
The next cooking class will be offered in English on Saturday, May 6, 2006, 8.50 am -1.30 pm. For best class results, seats are limited at 12 persons per class.
Each participant will receive a special designed apron for a class souvenir. Cooking class certificate will also be presented upon the completion of the class. Class is price at Bath 1,900 per person.
