General Situation The stronger southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, and the monsoon trough lies across the upper portions of the North and Northeast through the low pressure cell over the Bay of Tonkin. More rain is forecast for Thailand while isolated heavy rain is likely over the North, the Northeast, the East and the upper South. People should beware of severe weather and stay tuned for the weather update.

The strong wind and waves continue in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. The waves are likely 2-4 meters high in the Andaman Sea and 2-3 meters offshore from Surat Thani upward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore. People along the coast should beware of inshore surges.

mainly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun,

Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Sukhothai.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan,

Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mostly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Nakhon Sawan,

Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phetchaburi,

Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meter and 2-3 meters offshore.

Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Stun.

Phuket upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-45 km/hr.
