General Situation The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Less summer thunderstorms are likely upper Thailand and a rise in temperature. Hot weather remains in the upper country. Outbreaks of summer storms are forecast with isolated thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail in the North. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds will be possible over the Northeast, the Central, the East, and the South. People should stay safe due to the severe conditions by keeping off from an open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers are advised to prepare for crop’s damages.
During 28 Mar – 1 Apr 2019, the heat low pressure cell covers upper Thailand while the westerly through from Myanmar move to covers the North, the upper Central and the upper Northeast. The Southerly and the Southeasterly winds prevails over the lower Northeast and the East cause thundershowers remains in the areas.
