Weather Forecast During 17 - 19 May, the weak southwesterly winds prevail over the Andaman Sea and Thailand cause less rain over the areas while still isolated heavy rain in the Southwest. The wind waves height in the Andaman Sea is 1-2 meters and higher 2 meters in thundershower areas. During 20 - 23 May, the high pressure area from China will extends to the South China Sea cause the southeasterly winds bring humid to cover the Northeast, the Central and the East of Thailand. Meanwhile the strengthening Southwesterly winds prevail the South. A inceasing rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. The moderate wind waves is about 2 meters and 2-3 meters in thundershower areas are likely in the Andaman Sea.Warning During 20 - 23 May, people over Thailand should beware of heavy rain with gusty winds. All ships in the Andaman Sea should procedure with caution in thunderstorm areas throughout of period.
