กรุงเทพฯ--17 มิ.ย.--กรีนพีซ เนื่องจากปริมาณขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ซึ่งนับวันยิ่งเพิ่มจำนวนมากขึ้น และ ภูมิภาคเอเชีย ก็ยิ่งนับวันกลายเป็นแหล่งทิ้งขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์แหล่งใหญ่ที่สุดของโลกเข้าไปทุกขณะ จึงเป็นความจำเป็นเร่งด่วนที่รัฐบาลต้องกำหนดมาตรการเพื่อแก้ปัญหานี้อย่างยั่งยืน กรีนพีซนำเสนอนโยบายการจัดการขยะ “ความรับผิดชอบที่เพิ่มขึ้นของผู้ผลิต” (Extended Producer Responsibility, EPR) ซึ่งริเริ่มในทวีปยุโรปมาประยุกต์ใช้ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้ผู้ผลิตป้องกันมลพิษ และลดการใช้ทรัพยากรในแต่ละช่วงอายุของสินค้า ตั้งแต่ขั้นตอนการผลิต การใช้ ตลอดจนเมื่อสินค้าหมดอายุการใช้งานแล้ว โดยการเปลี่ยนแปลงการออกแบบสินค้าและเทคโนโลยีในการผลิต สร้างความเข้าใจต่อนโยบาย EPR ส่งเสริมให้มีการนำนโยบาย EPRมาประยุกต์ใช้ในประเทศไทย ความคิดเห็นของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ องค์กรพัฒนาเอกชน นักวิชาการ ตัวแทนบริษัทผู้ผลิตสินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และผู้เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ต่างๆ มากกว่า ๅ30 คน ที่ตอบรับเข้าร่วมการสัมมนา วันเสาร์ที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2548 เวลา 8.30 - 17.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุม สถาบันระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการค้าและการพัฒนา (ITD) ชั้น 8 อาคารวิทยพัฒนา จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (ติดกับศศินทร์) (กรุณาพิจารณากำหนดการที่แนบมาพร้อมกันนี้ การสัมมนามีล่ามแปลพร้อมหูฟังตลอดรายการ) AGENDA Forum on “Extended Producer Responsibility: Greening the Electronics Sector” 18 June 2005, Conference Room, 8th Floor, Vidhayabhathana Building,The International Institute for Trade and Development, Chulalongkorn UniversityModerator: Kittikhun Kittiaram, Toxics Campaigner, Greenpeace Southeast Asia8.30 - 9.00 REGISTRATION9.00 - 9.10 Welcome and Introduction to the Skill-shareSanae Shida - Executive Director, Greenpeace Southeast Asia9.10 - 9.50 Why EPR?
