Also known as 'King Cake', Galette des Rois is an over 300-year-old tradition that comes around during the festive season. A pie-like dessert filled with an almond custard called frangipane, it's eaten to celebrate L'epiphanie, the 12th day after the birth of Jesus - which falls on January 6th each year.It's also a fun tradition shared with loved ones, as a Galette des Rois always contains a secret prize inside - and whoever receives the slice with the prize becomes 'King' for the day.Try your luck and order from us, available from 4th - 7th January 2024.
