I have learnt with profound sadness of the passing away of His Excellency Mr. Boris Yeltsin, the First President of the Russian Federation. President Yeltsin was a man of courage who will always be remembered as the leader who led a historic change in the world order. In this moment of sadness and bereavement, allow me, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, to extend to Your Excellency and to the family of President Yeltsin, our sincere condolences for this great loss.
