With the support of over 3,000 Chinese language and culture books from Xi’an University - China, Sripatum University has just established a special section of Chinese language & culture studies in SPU library. The official presentation of the books was just organized during the visit of the delegation from Xi’an University to Sripatum University on 17 December 2014. At the meeting room, the delegation, led by Vice President Wang Xiaoping, was warmly welcomed by Vice President - Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan, and Assistant to the President for International Affairs - Aj. Chinda Tejavaniaja Chang, together with the Deans and faculty members. The meeting did not only enhance the relationship between the 2 institutions, but also provide the opportunity to exclusively have fruitful discussion on academic collaborative activities in the near future. The campus tour was also arranged for the guests to see facilities available in the university, especially to see the section of Chinese language and culture book collection in the library. It is believed that this new Chinese study section will be useful source of knowledge for students of Chinese programs as well as all faculty and staff who have special interest learning about China.
