สารแสดงความยินดีประธานาธิบดีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศคนใหม่ของมาลาวี

ตามที่นาย Arthur Peter Mutharika ได้รับเลือกตั้งเป็นประธานาธิบดีคนใหม่ของมาลาวี โดยได้สาบานตนเข้ารับตำแหน่งเมื่อวันที่ ๓๑ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๗ และได้แต่งตั้งนาย George T. Chaponda ดำรงตำแหน่งรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ นั้น พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา ผู้บัญชาการทหารบกและ หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ (คสช.) และนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ปฏิบัติราชการแทนรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้มีสารแสดงความยินดี ดังนี้

I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, my sincere congratulations and best wishes on your recent election as the President of the Republic of Malawi.

I am certain that under Your Excellency’s vision and leadership, Malawi will be heading towards political and economic prosperity. As the Royal Thai Government has a policy to elevate our partnership with Africa in all aspects, especially in economic and development cooperation, I am certain that our ties of friendship will be further strengthened and developed in the coming years. I wish to reassure Your Excellency of Thailand’s steadfast commitment to expand and deepen our cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, with Malawi for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.

Thailand and Malawi have shared warm and friendly ties since the establishment of diplomatic relations 27 years ago.
