eastern Africa, Americans have generously contributed
approximately $18 million to the American Red Cross
International Response Fund, which supports both immediate and

outside the United States.

up a special working group to coordinate international relief

JAKARTA: Responding to the Tsunami disaster, the Indonesian
Red Cross has mobilized some 900 volunteer workers to help the
victims in Aceh and North Sumatra. Since the first day of the
