JAKARTA, Jan. 4 --Antara-AsiaNet/InfoQuest
PT Nestle Indonesia as a subsidiary of Nestle SA presented a
heartfelt sympathy for the victims of the massive earthquake and Tsunami, in
Aceh dan North Sumatra, on last Sunday 26 December 2004, a press release from
Nestle Indonesia said.
To the families who lost their homes or family members, PT Nestle
Indonesia donated more than 12 thousand boxes of Nestle MILO RTD ( ready to
drink), Nestle milk Cereals, Nestle Milkmaid SCM (Sweeetened Condensed Milk),
and Nestle Dancow Milk Powder with total value almost two billion rupiah.
Another donation was made just recently. These supplies were
transported by air and sea to the affected areas under the supervision of the
Indonesian red cross and many other governmental and non-governmental
relief organizations.
In cooperation with local administration where Nestle Indonesia's
factories and sales office located, the company monitors the situation in the
aftermath of the disaster so Nestle is always in position to provide help,
mostly in the form of food and beverage products, the press release added.
