The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has officially launched the "EV Ready+" Project for Developing High-Skilled Workforce to Support the Development of the Electric Vehicle Industry. The program offers free training to the public through MHESI Skill platform (www.mhesi-skill.org), along with an official e-Certificate issued by MHESI upon course completion, providing learners with a valuable credential to enhance career prospects or upskill for new opportunities.
As Thailand moves toward becoming the EV production hub of the Asia-Pacific region, fueled by robust government policy, increased global investment, and rising demand for EVs, one key challenge remains: preparing a workforce ready to meet industry demands. Recognizing this, MHESI launched the EV Ready+ project to empower Thai talent and ensure the country's competitiveness in the global automotive shift.

Comprehensive Training to Match Industry Needs
EV Ready+ offers a suite of training programs designed to serve technical, engineering, and EV business management pathways, initially launching with two fundamental courses -- Basic Electric Vehicle Technology Course and Electric Vehicle Maintenance Course. Three additional courses will be rolled out shortly, covering EV System Design and Development, EV Infrastructure and Charging Systems, and EV Business Management. These courses aim to equip learners with real-world skills and open pathways to a wide range of in-demand careers in the EV sector.
Flexible Hybrid Learning Format
All EV Ready+ courses are delivered in a hybrid format, combining self-paced online theory modules (8 hours) with hands-on practical training (8 hours) conducted at partner universities including Bangkok Thonburi University and King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (Rayong Campus). MHESI also plans to expand practical training sites to other regions nationwide, ensuring equal access to learners across the country.

Participation in EV Ready+ not only helps learners acquire critical skills, but also opens doors to high-potential careers in one of the world's fastest-growing industries. Free Registration Starts May 15, 2025 with limited availability. Priority will be given to the first 500 learners in the initial cohort.
