Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director–General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that in the first 4 months of fiscal year 2020 (October 2019 – January 2020), the government has received 843,654 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 1,027,094 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 56,202 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of January 2020 was at 337,829 million baht.
