Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director–General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that in the first 5 months of fiscal year 2020 (October 2019 – February 2020), the government has received 1,015,148 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 1,213,483 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 82,895 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of February 2020 was at 342,436 million baht.
