Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that the government’s net revenue collection in the first 5 months of fiscal year 2020 (October 2019 – February 2020), was 985,343 million baht, which was 6,772 million baht or 0.7% higher than revenue target but was 0.7% lower than the same period of last year. Remittances from State-owned Enterprises, revenue collection of Other Agencies and Revenue Department exceeded target by 6,655 5,178 and 2,453 million baht or 7.4% 8.0% and 0.4% respectively.
