Bangkok--30 Sep--Total Quality PR
A new EU Timber legislation that will ban the supply of illegal timber and timber products in the European Union will enter into force by the end of the current year, ending sales of such wood or wooden products to the EU market as of early 2013.
The Mission of Thailand to the European Union, the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand, and the Royal Forestry Department, recently co-organised a public conference in order to improve the understanding of the Thai business communities and relevant stakeholders of the EU's Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) approach.
