Reaffirming its leadership in mobile phone innovation, Samsung now officially unveils “Samsung Galaxy Tab,” the world’s first smart Android tablet running on the 2.2 version in Thailand at the “Thailand Mobile Expo 2010 Showcase” fair. Complete with cutting-edge tablet technologies of e-book, movie and music players, full web browser, file presentation, navigator and full-scale VDO call, Samsung Galaxy Tab is a smart, slim and compact all-in-one tool with a 7-inch screen and is lightweight enough for comfortable single-hand holding. The company is confident that the new product should sell at least 30,000 units by the end of this year.

AIS customers receive free 12-month of 500-megabyte usage with entertainment applications worth Bt6,000. Samsung aims to sell at least 30,000 tablets by the end of this year and expect to receive about 1,000 orders out of the expected total sales of 7,000 mobile units throughout the fair,” says Mr. Sitthichoke.
