e-Cop today announced that it has received the rating of a “Positive” in the recent Gartner’s MarketScope for Managed Security Services in Asia Pacific report. The report was published on 17 September 2010 by Mr Andrew Walls, analyst of Gartner. e-Cop was one of the 17 vendors included in this year’s MarketScope for MSSPs in Asia Pacific.
Gartner’s MarketScope report evaluated how providers measure against criteria for the Managed Security Services industry in Asia Pacific. According to Gartner, client organizations have cited predominately three factors — security expertise provided by the MSSP, quality of service delivered by the MSSP, and cost-effectiveness — as their selection criteria. In the report, vendors are evaluated against five criteria: customer experience, marketing strategy, offering (product) strategy, geographic strategy, and overall viability. (business unit, financial, strategy, organization.)
