The four clones, the results of diversification concept in development with three years of breeding and five years of planting trials, are H8, H10, H12 and H14.” The major strength of the four new eucalyptus clones, able to grow in diversified geographic locations across Thailand, is as follows: - H8 - resistant to disease and insect pest damage, suitable for area with high rainfall - H10 - resistant to disease and insect pest damage, suitable for area with coarse loamy soil and normal rainfall - H12 - resistant to disease and insect pest damage, suitable for area with calcareous soil and slight to normal rainfall - H14 - resistant to disease and insect pest damage, suitable for lowland with slight to normal rainfall In addition, SCG paper also offers a comprehensive suite of services to give full support to agriculturalists including cluster management for each plantation and building a network of plant distribution center across the country.
