Novotel Bangkok Fenix Ploenchit has announced the third of its community development programmes to support the ACCOR Planet 21 campaign, an award-winning sustainable development initiative by ACCOR Hotels. “You Donate, We Grow” encourages guests and members of the public to purchase a small orchid in a bottle for 120 Baht, with proceeds going to support the planting of mangroves at Phra Samut Chedi, Samutprakarn.
This popular visitor area South-east of Bangkok is actively seeking support for its localised reforrestation projects, and Novotel Bangkok Fenix Ploenchit is keen to support this cause with the help of your donations to the orchid sale. There are five orchid types available, and these small plants make beautiful and ideal gifts for friends and family. The mangrove planting activity will be implemented by Novotel Bangkok’s volunteer team.
The ACCOR Planet 21 programme aim to establish a longstanding commitment to hospitality CSR in the areas of health, nature, carbon, innovation, local communities, employment and dialogue.
