dtac in collaboration with CAT Telecom and TV3 news family encourage their customers to send SMS to 4567899 which 10 Baht/message will be donated to help the suffering flood victims. Furthermore, 1 Million Baht fund, prepaid SIM cards and top up cards have initially been donated through TV3 news family to help dtac customers in the disaster areas. dtac extends 30 days usage validity to prepaid customers, extends the payment due dates to postpaid customers and without usage suspension as to remain in good connection with others all the time. Furthermore, in collaboration with Royal Thai Army, dtac also sent publicized SMS the number of Northeastern Mitigation Center to its customers.
dtac prepaid and postpaid customers can easily contribute their help from their mobile phones by typing “namjaithai” or any other messages and send it to 4567899 for 10 Baht/message donation (Free of charge). The total amount will be donated without any expense deduction. General public can follow up the daily donation from “Rueng Lao Chao Nee” on Channel 3.
For assistance to the customers, dtac has extended 30 days usage validity to 1.3 million prepaid customers who are suffering in many severe flooding areas and also extended payment due dates without usage suspension. Postpaid customers can contact and state their intention by calling to 1678 dtac call center.
In addition, dtac has collaborated with the Royal Thai Army, the 2nd Army Area, by sending the publicized SMS to people who need assistance in the Northeastern provinces to contact at 044 251024 and 044 251020.
October 20, 2010, dtac has contributed 1 million Baht donation, 3,000 prepaid SIM cards and the total amount of 500,000 Baht value of top up cards have been donated through TV3 news family to help the flood victims in the disaster areas.
