TMB Bank Public Company Limited (TMB) has responded to individual and business customers who have been affected by the current flooding in many provinces across the country since mid-October. Announced today, the special packages are designed to alleviate the burden of customers and to help accelerate their recovery from the disaster.
Mr. Michal Szczurek, Chief Retail Banking Officer of TMB, said the secured loan individual customer relief package allows customers to choose to pay only the incurred interest for a period of up to six months. Customers with unsecured consumer loans, excluding credit cards, Ready Cash and other revolving credits, the interest-only payment period would be up to three months and the loan period extension also up to three months. The relief package is automatically available to any affected customers who had no overdue repayment as at 1 October 2010, and contact the Bank to take advantage of the offers. Request from customers with overdue repayments as of the stated date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Mr. Sayam Prasitsirigul, Chief SME Banking Officer of TMB, said TMB SME Banking have also put together a package as a flood relief measure for customers. It includes an interest only period and an extension of loan tenor of up to six months. Approval will be based on customers needs and the Bank’s consideration. In addition, the Bank will also provide additional funds to support customers’ working capital to aid their recovery.
