The festively decorated shopping centers will be new landmarks that prompt customers to capture memorable moments - A chance to win round-the-world tickets at CentralWorld while CentralPlaza and CentralFestival Pattaya Beach will offer shoppers a chance to win a trip to Scandinavia Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) announced its plan to hold the “Gift Wonderland” and the “World of Happiness @ CentralWorld” campaigns during the celebratory season in an effort to put customers in the festive mood and boost sales. Dr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Executive Marketing Vice President of CPN said “CPN is planning to spend over 200 million baht on implementing the “celebration marketing” approach by holding the CentralWorld — The World of Happiness and Gift Wonderland campaigns during the holiday season in an effort to boost traffic at all its shopping complexes. The campaigns will represent a gift to customers in celebration of the festive season. The events will be organised based on three principles — cultural experience, entertainment experience and learning experience, which will be applied in creating events that best respond to the lifestyles of people nowadays. The two campaigns have different themes, each of which fits its own unique brand characteristics and expressions. The theme of CentralWorld’s campaign is “Christmas Fun Park” while the theme CentralPlaza will be “Best of Star”. CPN will also prove itself to be the best at offering the ultimate New Year countdown destinations. There will be a New Year countdown not only at CentralWorld but also at CentralFestival Pattaya Beach and CentralPlaza Khonkaen. We expect that the campaign will help boost up shoppers traffic by 10% comparing to the same period of last year.” In celebration of the upcoming festive season, shopping complexes under the management of CPN will create captivating Christmas and New Year themed ambience. CentralWorld will be decorated under the theme “Christmas Fun Park”, with a 30-metre-tall Christmas tree, the tallest in Southeast Asia, as well as enchanting Russian dolls, a delightful Christmas Ferris Wheel and a first-ever giant glass Snow Dome that lets people go inside and take pictures in the snow. Meanwhile, all CentralPlaza shopping complexes and CentralFestival Pattaya Beach will be decorated under the theme “The Land of Glowing Stars”, with giant Christmas trees, delightful snowmen and Thailand’s first-ever Glow in the Dark decorations that can change colours and movement. In addition, each shopping complex will be decorated based on its own unique brand characteristics and expressions. For example, snowmen at CentralFestival Pattaya Beach will be dressed like reggae singers with dreadlocks. For every 1,000 baht spent at any of the shopping complexes, customers will receive a lucky draw coupon and stand to win over 106 items of prizes worth over 2 million baht in total. First prize is the “Wonderful Scandinavian” tour: 3 prizes, each prize for 2 persons worth 280,000 a prize. The second prize is the “all-year free call” from DTAC: 100 prizes, each prize worth 12,000 baht.
