After donating 500 sets of food and supplies for the local people around the Siam Iron and Steel (2001) Co., Ltd. which is the subsidiaries of Tata Steel (Thailand) Plc. during the flood, Tata Steel (Thailand) also raised the after-flood relief project hereafter. By helping 3 schools located around the plant’s area re-setting the electricity system, fixing all the damaged ceilings and floor, including cleaning the buildings outside in and inside out, the staffs from all the subsidiaries are willing to volunteer in this project. This activity is a part of the corporate social responsibility to support the communities around the plant.
