Thailand has encountered unprecedented flash floods problems in many provinces causing a lot of damage to people and their assets. Emergency aids and relief efforts have been provided by many NGOs and private enterprises alike. However, continuous financial support is still much needed for ongoing relief activities.
The executives from Siemens Limited Thailand led by Khun Supreeya Mokaramanee, Chief Financial Officer, and Khun Prapassorn Virothai, Vice President and Head of Communications has recently presented a donation cheque of 260,000 Baht to the Thai Red Cross Society represented by the Director of Relief and Community Health Bureau Lt. Gen. Dr. Amnat Barlee to help flood victims.
Besides, Lt. Gen Dr. Amnat also gave Siemens’ executives an update report about Siemens’ water treatment equipment formerly donated to the Thai Red Cross Society to be installed in the tsunami-affected provinces that still could efficiently provide the clean water to the people in the areas until now.
