7 December program to focus on financing the healthcare system in Thailand
The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PreMA), is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with all the people of Thailand. With its philosophy - “Innovative Medicine…Healthier Life” in mind, a weekly TV program has been created to educate and provide useful information relevant to the health of all the Thai public. The program is broadcast on TNN2, True Vision8, under the title “Nee Pan Din — SukaparbDee Kap PReMA”, or “Nee Pan Din — Good Health with PReMA”. Each week it features different health professionals and individuals who are prominent in their related fields, to provide vital information focusing on various health issues important to today’s well-being in Thailand.
The topic of this week will focus on the “Future of Thailand: Healthcare Financing”, featuring Dr. Jetn Sirathranont, M.D. He is a Senator, and is presently the 1st vice chairperson of the Standing Committee on Public Health, and has contributed extensively to improve Thailand’s public health over the course of his career. This program will air on Tuesday 7 December, 2010 on TNN2, True Vision 8.
The re-run of the program is on Wednesday 1200-1300.
