Photo Release: P&G receives honorable award for “A Best Corporate Citizen in promoting and protecting the children’s rights” on Universal Children’s Day 2010

Bangkok--8 Dec--ARC Worldwide The Task Force for Children in Thailand or the TFCT led by child activist Mr. Wanlop Tangkhananurak — chief of TFCT presented an award to Procter and Gamble Trading (Thailand) Ltd. or P&G Thailand for its “A Best Corporate Citizen in promoting and protecting the children’s rights for 2010”. On the Universal Children’s Day, Ms. Tassana Boonthong, vice president of the Senate, attended to present this award to Mr. Raul Falcon, Managing Director of P&G Thailand. Guests of honour include Mr. Issara Somchai, Minister of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Mr. Somchai Sawangkarn, Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights, Right and Liberties and Consumer Protection, and Mr. Ratchata Sriboonrut, the President of the Children and Youth Council of Thailand who have come to made opening speeches for the ceremony. The ceremony included an announcement of a seminar on Children’s rights, with a main focus on the various issues children face, led by youth representatives from all parts of Thailand, and the event was held at The House of Parliament Building II recently.
