Electrolux brought the troop of 80 staffs to recover the coral’s life of Thai sea by planting the artificial reefs in their CSR Project “Save the World” at Kham Island, Sattahip, Cholburi.
Khun Sutti Manokitjarunman, General Manager, Electrolux Thailand together with the 80 volunteer staffs united to plant the artificial reefs in order to replace the natural reefs in the CSR Project “Save the World” at Kham Island, Sattahip, Cholburi. This CSR Project aims to increase the coral space of Thai’s sea which has continuously decreased at the present time. To plant the artificial reefs is another ways to conserve and restore the ecology system to the sea’s creatures. Moreover, Electrolux has cultivated continually the conscious mind about environmental conservation to their staffs by encouraging their staffs to help save the energy as well as organized the work shop to educate the staffs.
Khun Sutti said that “the activity today makes everyone realize the important of reefs which has the great valuable to the marine natural resource. We all glad to be the part of planting the artificial reefs so as to keep the balance of the nature with Thai’s sea forever. This activity is one of the CSR Project that Electrolux has continuously developed every year; the last activities include the forestation at Koh Chan district, Cholburi in 2008 and mangrove plantation at Ban Klong Kone, Samutsongkhram in 2009.”
