LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. revealed its mobile business strategies for 2011, with a strong emphasis on offering innovative mobile devices in all segments. LG aims to take its place as one of the top three leaders in the growing mobile market with an array of smartphones and feature phone to be introduced over the course of this year.
Upcoming LG mobile devices to be launched in the first half of 2011 include the world’s first smartphone with a dual-core processor, as well as a smartphone offering the world’s brightest 700 nit IPS LCD - NOVA Display. Besides this commitment to innovation, LG is also focused on delivering mobile devices that suite the various lifestyle demands of different consumers and is also set to release series of smartphones under the Optimus label and feature phones under the Wink label to meet these needs.
To reach a wider audience and encourage brand engagement, LG will also build on the success of its online marketing strategies and plans to expand its channels of mobile product distribution throughout the country, initiating more co-promotional campaigns with mobile operators.
