Acer Computer Co., Ltd., No.1 computer vendor in Thailand, showcased its innovative “Clear.fi” console, allowing users to interact with multimedia files in an easy, intuitive, immediate, innovative way and simplifying access to social networking sites. This console is specifically designed for entertainment lovers.
Mr. Boonchai Ngouvisitkul, Associate Director Consumer Product Management Division, said, Acer introduced Clear.fi technology that enables users of electronic gadgets and devices i.e. desktop PC, notebook, smartphone and tablet to share digital contents easily, quickly and seamlessly across mobility computing devices anytime, anywhere, without having to us devices for data transfer.
Clear.fi runs on pre-installed Clear.fi software in new Acer Aspire product suite including notebooks, netbooks, desktops, tablet PCs and smartphones and also pre-installed on selected models of Gateway and eMachines notebooks, netbooks and desktops. When connected to a network either Wired or Wireless network, the system will be able to share multimedia digital contents i.e. images, photos, songs, movies and videos stored in the devices via a common interface on Clear.fi with no limitation of device formats or platforms. Clear.fi also allows users to retrieve multimedia contents — images, music, movies and videos — from any device platforms (Local Playback), in addition the fuction “Online Playback” allows users to send and play the multimedia content file with other assigned devices. Clear.fi not only can save the multimedia content file (Save to) from one system to another system easily, it also let users to “Publish” the files to other social media networks i.e. Facebook, Flickr and Youtube as well.
Clear.fi sharing features include:
- Play To: Nothing more than a simple ‘drag and drop’ to play every multimedia file. The button ‘Play To’ makes it easy to use any networked media devices to play music, watch videos, and display photos that reside on one of the systems. What you want, where you want.
- Save To: Digital media can also be stored on a selected device, with just one click on the ‘Save To’ button. Making them available anytime and anywhere in the home network and out.
- Publish To: Acer clear.fi console allows you to upload multimedia files, photos and videos to social networking sites such as Facebook and YouTube. Just drag those files to ‘Publish To’ without logging into the homepage.
