Bangkok--1 Mar--Hill & Knowlton World Kidney Day activities to boost awareness of kidney disease and encourage 840 kidney donation commitments in honour of HM the King On the occasion of World Kidney Day on 10 March this year, the Nephrology Society of Thailand will stage a campaign to raise awareness of kidney disease amongst Thai people and create positive understanding of the benefits of kidney donation. To be held at the clock tower, Jatujak Park on Sunday 6 March at 6 am — 5 pm, the event will feature a parade to encourage up to 840 kidney donation commitments in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. In addition, there will be Q&A session about kidney disease and music shows. A host of celebrities will also attend the event including Kimberley Anne Woltemas, Pancake Kemmanij Jamikorn, Alex Rendell and Beem Kawee Tanjararak (from D2B).
