A One Million Baht cash prize is on offer at the Thailand Finals of the World Corporate Golf Challenge on 17th March in Bangkok.
Expected to be a huge attraction to tournament participants, the Hole-In-One prize is offered on the Par 3 Hole 16 (Men 219 yards, Lady 171 yards) at Thana City Golf & Sports Club, the only Greg Norman course in Thailand.
“To offer such a large cash prize for an amateur event is almost unheard of. The standard of competition for the Thailand Finals is expected to be very high and the cash Hole-In-One prize adds further to the excitement,” said David Pettigrew, Director of Golf, Diethelm Travel.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge Asia is part of the largest amateur corporate golf tournament in the world. The winners of the Thailand Finals win an all-expenses-paid trip to South Africa to play in the World Finals, held 3 — 8 May 2011 at Simola.
The tournament is open to teams of two representing any company or organisation in Thailand where at least one member of the team is a full-time employee. Entry fee is 4,000THB per person.
