Bangkok--3 Mar--Delegation of the European Union toThailand
The European Union (EU) Delegation to Thailand, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is pleased to invite you to a Press Conference announcing the launch of the Thailand-EU Cooperation Facility - Phase II (TEC II).
Designed to foster constructive dialogue and cooperation between Thailand and the EU, TEC II aims to enhance the capacity of Thai private and public sector organisations to support national development goals in four main areas: Trade and investment; Education, science and technology; Environment, energy and sustainable development; Good governance. TEC II will run until 2013 and is funded through a ?4.4 million (Baht 185 million) EU grant.
The objectives and guidelines of the Facility will be presented by:
- Mr. Attila Nyitrai, Minister Counselor and Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to Thailand
- Lt. JG. Komate Kamalanavin, RTN, Deputy Director General, Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Press Conference will take place at the State Room III, the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, Sukhumvit Road (BTS Asok or MRT Sukhumvit stations) on
