BMW Thailand is ready to showcase the engineering superiority with BMW EfficientDynamics technology at the 32nd Bangkok International Motor Show during 25 March - 5 April 2011, at Challenger 1-3, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani. In this event, the highlight presentations from BMW include the BMW X1 sDrive18i — recently rolled off the production line from the Rayong Plant of BMW Manufacturing Thailand, the all-new BMW X3 SAV Sports Activity Vehicle and the all-new BMW 6 Series Convertible.

It has a retail price of THB 2.149 Million, or a monthly installment starting from THB 23,999 per month via a 5-year balloon financing program with BMW Financial Services Thailand. Another exciting highlight on BMW’s stand this year is the national premiere of the all-new BMW X3 — the successor of the segment leader and the best selling in the premium Sports Activity Vehicle class in Thailand. With the enhanced comfort, in combination with the best 4-cylinder engine with Advanced Diesel technology, the BMW X3 xDrive20d fits well to the requirements of Thai consumers. Another national premiere is the all-new BMW 6 Series Convertible. This new open-top automobile features not only a magnificent look all-round, but also one of the world’s best engine technologies with the TwinPower turbo in-line 6-cylinder petrol power unit in the BMW 640i. BMW X1 sDrive18i. Born with the concept of ‘sporty yet elegant’ Crossover concept, the BMW X1 SAV features a harmonized combination of typical SAV characters (such as robust design, extra ground clearance, elevated seating position) and sporty performance tourer characters (such as short overhangs, long wheelbase and ground-hugging stance). This uniquely innovative concept is translated into the perfect proportion and into each and every detail of its sporty yet elegant design. This sporty Crossover - BMW X1 sDrive18i - also offers the uniquely pure driving experience, through its advanced chassis set-up: 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and rear wheel drive, the secret recipe of BMW’s sheer driving pleasure.
To address the customer needs in the premium segment, the BMW X1 sDrive18i comes fully equipped with an array of safety and comfort features, including Bi-Xenon headlights with automatic light on-off and beam-throw control functions, 17-inch light alloy wheels with Runflat tire technology, leather upholstery and electric seat adjustment with memory for the front seats, DSC Dynamic Stability Control, PDC Parking Distance Control front-rear, leather steering wheel with multi-function control and Bluetooth connection for mobile phones. BMW X3 xDrive20d. The all-new BMW X3 is the successor to a top seller and will add a new dimension to the pleasure of driving a SAV Sports Activity Vehicle of this class. More significantly than ever, it establishes benchmarks in driving dynamics, agility and efficiency, whilst at the same time convincing through noticeably increased driving comfort. The perfect harmony between driving agility and comfort can be attributable to the optional PC Performance Control — an on-demand torque vectoring system for the rear axle, and EDC Electronic Damper Control.
The design of the all-new BMW X3 SAV combines the typical BMW X character with a dynamically stretched silhouette. Thanks to a generous amount of space and a high degree of variability in the interior, it is possible to adapt travel comfort as well as transportation capacities to suit each personal requirement. Attributable to the superior BMW EfficientDynamics technology such as the Advanced Diesel technology, the Brake Energy Re-generation, the on-demand oil and water pumps and the advanced aerodynamics, the BMW X3 xDrive20d achieves the best-in-class fuel economy.

BMW 640i Convertible. The all-new BMW 6 Series Convertible embodies the most exclusive form of Sheer Driving Pleasure in a 2+2 open-top BMW. Its bodywork styling signals athletic elegance and a natural, sensuous sportiness that herald a driving experience as luxurious as it is dynamic. Exclusive to this model, the new BMW 6 Series Convertible features an electric-power-operated fabric fin-structure soft top, which can be opened in 19 seconds and closed in 24 seconds. Its interior imparts an exclusive sense of security, features a driver-oriented cockpit layout in familiar BMW style, and is compelling for its stylish functionality.
Inspiring design and groundbreaking technology define the character of the all-new BMW 6 Series Convertible. The BMW 640i Convertible features the in-line 6-cylinder 3.0-liter petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, VALVETRONIC intelligent variable valve control technology and petrol direct injection technology. The power is delivered via the 8HP Sports Automatic gearbox with 8-speed, which lends it a combination of sporting prowess, shift comfort and efficiency none of its rivals can match.
The standard version of the BMW 640i Convertible has retail price of THB 9,499,000, VAT and BSI BMW Services Inclusive 5 years / 100,000 included. It comes with an array of luxury comfort features, including Comfort Access, PDC Parking Distance Control, Bluetooth connection for mobile phone, Hi-fi audio system, leather upholstery and 17-inch alloy wheels. Optionally, the customers can further add two option packages: Innovations Package and Comfort Package, to the standard version of the BMW 640i Convertible.
