DAD Yontrakit is parading in an all-star lineup of brand new models from Citroen at the 2011 Bangkok International Motorshow. Headlining the French connection is the “Citroen DS3 and Citroen Jumper”, the “MTM Audi A7 and MTM Audi Q5” and “Skoda Superb and Skoda Yeti” Coupled with these six new models are 3 exciting campaigns for customers new and old. Free vehicle checkups with professional quality service on par to European standards. Customers who place booking orders at the Motorshow will receive a VVIP card for discounts on labor charges and spare parts in addition to a voucher for a top-notch studio photo package.
Ms.Vitchuda Leenutaphong, Vice President of Directional Automobiles Development or D.A.D. Yontrakit group, the official importer and sole distributor of “Citroen”, “Foton”, “MTM Audi”, “Seat”, “Skoda”, “SpeedART Porsche” and “Spyker” cars for the Thai market said that D.A.D.’s participation at the 32nd Bangkok International Motorshow, Challenger Hall Muangthong Thanee will feature 6 new models from Citroen, MTM Audi and Skoda.
The Citroen brand will be spearheaded by the “DS3” model and its sports hatchback design to standout while on the tarmac; the DS3 is a reflection of the driver’s unique personality and style which is absolutely modern and fashionable at heart. The “Citroen DS3” will feature a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve VTi engine that develops 120hp and 160Nm in power and torque respectively; mated to the engine is a 4-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic technology by Citroen.
The “Citroen Jumper” van is a VIP-class vehicle with accessories that ups the ante in the luxury and comfort amenities department with seats decked in first-class genuine leather upholstery equipped with electric massage features, side steps for easy entry and exit on both sides, and a high-end home-entertainment system.
Ms Vitchuda added that the MTM Audi brand will feature the “A7” sports sedan based on the brand’s new sports concept in 4-door form that is a perfect harmonization between a sporty design and power modified to MTM standards; the “A7” will be powered by a 3.0-liter diesel engine that is capable of 285hp to outshine its competition. Also featured in the MTM lineup is the “Q5” sports crossover styled as a 2-door coupe, and its smaller sibling called the “A1” sports hatchback as well.
Moving over to the Skoda brand’s two highlights is the new “Superb” and “Yeti” models. The “Superb” is a mid-sized luxury sedan that comes with world-class safety standards and incorporates state-of-the-art technology. Under its hood is an intelligent 1.8-liter TSI engine capable of 160hp mated to a DSG 7-speed automatic transmission for excellent acceleration and ultra-low fuel consumption.
The Skoda “Yeti” is an agile city SUV or sports utility that answers customer’s need for something new and refreshing. It is fuel efficient and features European safety standards of the highest level. Powering the “Yeti” is a 1.2-liter TSI engine mated to a DSG 7-speed automatic gearbox; maximum power rating is 105hp and accelerates to 100kph from a standstill in 12 seconds. The highlight is, of course, the “Yeti’s” outstanding fuel consumption of 6.4 liters per 100km.
Ms Vitchuda said that her firm is offering three special campaigns during the Motorshow “D.A.D. Back Home” campaign consisting of a free 10-item vehicle checkup for every model sold within the D.A.D. Yontrakit product lineup; this promotion applies to both old and new cars which seek professional aftersales service at every showroom branch of the D.A.D. Yontrakit group. “This campaign is our way of thanking D.A.D Yontrakit customers who are enthusiasts of European automobiles and our professional service. Customers can drive in any model that is sold by D.A.D. Yontrakit and take advantage of our free 10-item checkup promotion”, said Ms Vitchuda.
The second and third campaigns for new customers who place vehicle bookings at the Motorshow will consist of a D.A.D. VVIP” card which entitles customers to a 10% discount on spare parts and a 15% discount on labor charges; included is a free towing service (tow truck with slide mechanism) to bring in your car for regular service checkups, and a family photo package voucher at Life Star Wedding Studio as well. The aforementioned packages will be valid from March 25th onwards till April 5th, 2011 which is the final day of the Motorshow.
