Mitsubishi car’s quality was guaranteed by Car of The Year by getting 4 prizes from 2011 Car of The Year 2011 namely Trion, Pajero Sport, Trion 2.4 CNG which reached highest score for its value for money and got Best Pickup 2WD Under 2,500 c.c. and Lancer EX 1.8 FFV has been awarded as the Best Flexible Energy Car for 2 years consecutively.
Mr. Vigrant Amatayakul, Corporate General Manager, Office of Sales, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited (MMTh) announced the success of Mitsubishi vehicle again after 3 major models which are sold in Thai market including Triton, Pajero Sport, and the latest model “Mitsubishi Lancer EX” won 4 prizes from Car of the Year 2011 award judged by the expert committees from various field of automotive industry.

“These prizes will help to guarantee the quality of Mitsubishi vehicles which sold in Thailandespecially for Triton and Pajero Sport that we have just introduced to Thai market with the new engine 2.5 VG Turbo coming with smaller engine size but can generate maximum output 178 PS while Trion 2.4 CNG hit the highest score and won “Best Pickup 2WD Under 2,500c.c.”. The new car is equipped with CNG system under company standard with 3 year 100,000 kilometer warranty that can run on benzene up to Gasohol E20 and CNG Moreover, Lancer EX 1.8 which is the Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) and compatible with all types of benzene up to E85 was voted for “Best Flexible Energy Car” award for 2 years consecutively. The total 4 awards will not only satisfy MMTh people but also reflect the intention of Mitsubishi Motors to produce quality products in order to respond customers need at the same time it can help to establish customer confidence towards Mitsubishi vehicle” Mr. Vigrant said.
