HSBC in Thailand has launched a Renminbi denominated savings deposit account for retail customers. The move will expand the range foreign currency deposit accounts available and allow customers to further diversify their deposit portfolio with one of the world’s key upcoming currencies. At present, HSBC offers savings deposit accounts in seven foreign currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, SGD, HKD and CNY.
