- Following the success of the 1st “Cordless Race” Competition in 2010, Bosch Power Tools officially launches the 2nd “Cordless Race” Competition and scales it to an international event covering five countries in Asia.
- Starting from February, Thailand qualifying race will provide a stage to college students to show their originality. Two teams that win in Thailand qualifying race will compete in the Asian final round in Beijing with other eight student teams from Philippines, China, Malaysia and South Korea.
Following the success of the 1st “Cordless Race” Competition in 2010 at Shanghai, China, Bosch Power Tools officially launches the 2nd “Cordless Race” and scales it to an international event covering five countries in Asia. In Thailand, the recruitment of Thailand Cordless Race has started since beginning of February. Two winning teams from Thailand will enter into the Asian final in Beijing, competing with other eight student teams from other four participating countries including Philippines, China, Malaysia and South Korea.
“Cordless Race” program is a specially created program for students. The event aims to encourage and inspire creativity and innovation among the young generation. In accordance with the competition requirements, participants will design and produce vehicles by using Bosch Lithium-Ion cordless impact drills as the drive of the engine. Then, the teams will carry out road tests for the vehicles’ power system, stability and security. Based on the test results, twelve teams will enter Thailand qualifying race held on 2-3 July, 2011 at Square B, Central World.
